Rockdale Special Olympics is hosting a road race on Saturday, March 24, 2012. We provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. The Rock On Rockdale is slated to be one of our largest fundraisers to provide Special Olympians with transportation, equipment and uniforms. Any contribution/donation that you can provide is greatly appreciated and goes a long way.
